AN OASIS AWAY FROM THE CITY

The Villa has beautiful provencal ceilings and exposed beams, combined with everything you would expect in contemporary living- double glazing and modern light fittings to name but a few. The massive historic walls and the elevation (400m above sea level) guarantee an agreeable indoor climate year round: cool during summer and comfortably warm during the pre- and after season. For added comfort during extrem high or low temperatures, there is an aircondioning system in every room, which can be reversed to heating as needed.

Kitchen, dining room and lounge are semi-open plan. The large kitchen is modern and well-equipped even with a steamer, dishwasher, microwave/convection and second convection oven, gas hob and 2 American-style fridges and a freezer. The dining room table comfortably seats 8. The lounge with large closed-in fireplace is comfortably furnished and has TV with satellite reception, DVD and sound system. The house phone can be found here with free calls to land lines in 90 countries (including US, NZ etc.). Several double doors open up onto the outside terrace and garden. There is a Sonos sound system throughout the house.

The first bedroom with en-suite bathroom is accessed from the hallway. From the living area a few steps down lead to bedrooms two and three, both with their own generously sized bathroom facilities- one of them has a double bathtub as well as a shower. These two bedrooms have a beautiful view of - and direct access to - the pool area. Stairs from the living area lead up to the fourth bedroom with en-suite facilities. On this level you will also find a mezzanine office space/lounge, with a large comfortable sofa.
